Bar Meals

Our bar area offers you a homely atmosphere where you can relax in front of a cosy log fire, whilst enjoying your meal.

Our wide-ranging bar meal menu offers a large selection of light bites, lunches and evening meals, all of which are expertly prepared using the finest locally sourced fresh produce.

Bar meals are available at lunchtime (12-2pm) Friday to Sunday, and during the evening (6-9pm) from Wednesday to Sunday.

Restaurant

Our restaurant offers our diners an exceptional dining experience blending rustic heritage with warm hospitality.  With its low, oak-beamed ceilings and stone-flagged floors, centuries worth of history fill the room.

Our wide-ranging menu reflects our passion for good quality, home-cooked food.  Locally sourced Welsh produce is transformed into hearty yet creative dishes that showcase both classic British flavours and thoughtful seasonal touches.

The restaurant area is open 5 evening a week, 6-9pm, from Wednesday to Sunday.

Sunday Lunch

There’s something so special about a good Sunday roast and at the Ty Gwyn, it’s all about bringing that comforting, home-cooked feeling to your table using the very best locally sourced produce.

We work closely with local farmers and suppliers to ensure our ingredients are fresh, sustainable, and full of flavour.  Our meats are carefully selected for quality and tenderness, with vegetables sourced at their seasonal peak.  It’s this commitment to local produce that allows us to serve food that not only tastes exceptional but also supports our community.

We advise advanced booking for Sunday dining at the Ty Gwyn.

Party Evenings

Whether you’re planning a work gathering, a family celebration, or simply looking for a reason to dress up and enjoy a wonderful evening out, our party nights promise delicious food, flowing drinks, and a warm Welsh welcome.

During the festive season, the inn transforms into a cosy winter retreat, complete with seasonal menus, festive décor, and plenty of cheer, providing the perfect setting for your Christmas party.  Every January we celebrate the Chinese New Year with a banquet dining evening that has become renowned across North Wales.

Charming, cosy inn with standout food

I was not expecting to be so blown away by the food as I was.  Everything on the menu was amazing, exactly what I wanted.  Cooked to perfection and mopped up with crusty, delicious granary bread.  The hake was standout.  The wine list also lovely. “
